| Description | Matthew M. Piston is a partner with the firm. Matt is a life-long resident of Monroe County graduating from Irondequoit High School and Nazareth College. He graduated from Albany Law School and came back to Monroe County to join the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office. While working with the District Attorney’s Office, Matt prosecuted major crimes such as murder, burglary and robbery affording him the court room experience necessary to be a zealous advocate for his clients.Matt is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. Matt is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association and is also a member of the Town of Penfield Zoning Board of Appeals, the Town of Penfield Energy and Environmental Advisory Committee and the Golf Committee for Holy Childhood.Matt is a dedicated advocate for his clients, whether through court room proceedings or negotiating a resolution to his clients’ matters. His practice is focused on assisting individuals and businesses in a variety of litigation needs, including divorce, commercial, employment and personal injury litigation. Additionally, Matt’s past experience with the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office affords him the ability to thoroughly represent individuals in all types of criminal proceedings and governmental investigations. |
