| Description | Maria graduated from Salmon P. Chase College of law in 2015. During her time at Chase she was an officer of the Legal Association of Women and spent two semesters in the small business clinic where she was responsible for legal services to entrepreneurs, small businesses, and nonprofits, advising on business formation, contracts and employment related issues. Prior to transitioning into the field of law, Maria spent the previous twenty years of her career working in higher education administration, human resources, and accounting. The combination of having obtained an MBA from the University of Cincinnati in 2004 and her long business career has uniquely prepared her for the challenges of representing injured workers against large employers. Maria also enjoys contributing to our local community which includes, volunteering with her children’s school and extra-curricular activities, working with youth interested in joining the legal profession and volunteering with the Greater Cincinnati Aquarium Society. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Maria is licensed to practice law in all agencies and Ohio State courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Potter Stewart American Inn of Court, the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Worker’s Compensation Practice Group and the Ohio Association for Justice. |
