| Description | Will is a third-generation lawyer who joined Hemmer DeFrank Wessels in February of 2019 as a second-year law student. Will is currently licensed to practice pending admission in Ohio, and will soon be licensed in Kentucky and other jurisdictions. Will focuses his practice on complex tort and contract litigation with an emphasis on defamation and intellectual property law. Before joining the firm, Will worked as a summer clerk at Baker & Hostetler LLP in its nationally-recognized Privacy and Data Protection practice group. Will is a native of the Cincinnati area and is an alumnus of Covington Catholic High School (Class of 2013), University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music (Class of 2017), and Northern Kentucky University’s Chase College of Law (Class of 2020). In law school, Will was a senior member of the editorial board for the Northern Kentucky Law Review and served as both its Symposium and Digital Media Editor. Will volunteers as an assistant coach for Covington Catholic High School’s mock trial team, helping students understand evidentiary strategies and other legal concepts in preparation for competition. In his free time, Will enjoys playing and producing music, including playing guitar, piano and pedal steel for various performing acts in and around Cincinnati. |
