| Description | Lola M. James has been associated with Willman & Silvaggio since 1996, concentrating her practice in civil defense litigation, products liability and toxic tort. Ms. James earned her J.D. at St. John’s University School of Law in 1980. She is a member of the State Bar in New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. She is also a member of the United States District Court in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Southern District of West Virginia. As National Counsel for an equipment manufacturer engaged in multi-state litigation, Ms. James developed and implemented effective defense strategies and coordinated nationwide litigation. As in-house counsel for a large insurance company, Ms. James defended clients in personal injury, property damage, and professional liability cases. She also litigated indemnity and coverage claims arising out of high-rise construction projects and mass litigation. Lola graduated magna cum laude from Queens College, C.U.N.Y. in Flushing, New York. She also attended The Mary Louis Academy in Jamaica, New York. Ms. James is presently a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the West Virginia Bar Association. |
