| Description | Jennifer Christian began her legal career at Durbin, Larimore & Bialick and concentrates her practice on all aspects of commercial law, assisting clients in a wide range of transactional matters as well as litigation involving contractual disputes, trust administration, insurance coverage and employment-related matters. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Oklahoma and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and serves as a volunteer for Oklahoma Lawyers for Children and the Oklahoma County Bar Association’s Lawyers for Learning Committee. Ms. Christian has been recognized as an Oklahoma Rising Star by Super Lawyers 2011-2016 for her achievements in the practice of law and is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL Class VIII.Born in Altus, Oklahoma, and raised in Weatherford, Oklahoma, Ms. Christian attended the University of Oklahoma, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Letters with honors in 2003.In 2007, Ms. Christian received her Juris Doctorate summa cum laude from the Oklahoma City University School of Law and was honored as the Outstanding Graduate for the Class of 2007. While in law school, Ms. Christian served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Oklahoma City University Law Review and was a pupil in the Ruth Bader Ginsberg Inn of Court, a Merit Scholar, and a member of Phi Delta Phi. Her article, Whistleblower Protection Under Sarbanes-Oxley:Key Provisions and Recent Case Developments, was selected for publication in a 2006 edition of the Oklahoma City University Law Review. Ms. Christian was also a recipient of a Dean’s Circle Scholarship and academic achievement awards in the areas of Civil Procedure, Corporations, Legal Research & Writing, Evidence, Bankruptcy, Agency & Partnership, Comparative Law, and Conflicts of Law. |
