| Description | Elizabeth Phillips is an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates. As an undergrad, Phillips attended University of California (UC), Berkeley with a major in Sociology. As a reward for her academic excellence, Phillips was accepted into the Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholarship program. At UC Berkeley, Phillips was a member of the Latino Sociology Association (LSA); a student run organization. After her undergraduate studies, Phillips continued on to pursue her Juris Doctor (JD) at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, where she was granted the Dean’s Merit Scholarship upon entering. Phillips earned a CALI Excellence award for attaining the highest grade in her Advanced Legal Writing course. During law school, Phillips spent semesters abroad in London and Washington D.C., where she worked at the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children, as well as the U.S. Office of Special Counsel. At the International Centre, Phillips was able to contribute her work in a research publication, Studies in Child Protection.Working to help the community and becoming an advocate for the people was one of the main reasons why Phillips decided to pursue a career in law. Phillips cares for the overall well-being of her clients. She works clients on a more personable and compassionate level that goes beyond their injuries and settlements. Phillips has experience in various practice areas such as auto accidents, sexual assaults and insurance bad faith claims. Phillips is currently a member of Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) and Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA). |
