Having successfully tried many cases to verdict, Mr. Healy understands how to gather and present the evidence necessary to obtain a not guilty verdict, a dismissal of the charges, or a reduction of the charges. Mr. Healy has achieved results favorable to his clients in cases involving charges of: rape, assault and battery, first-degree burglary, child molestation, and ‘second strike’ crimes, to name a few. He works diligently to assess the facts of each client’s situation and present an individually tailored defense strategy for achieving the best outcome possible. Often that strategy results in dropped or reduced charges, dismissed charges, or a not guilty verdict. Mr. Healy received his B.A. from the University of Washington, Seattle, his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, Tacoma, and graduated from the Trial Advocacy College. He is admitted to practice in all Washington state courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. He is a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Pierce County Bar Association.
