| Description | Robert Rodgers graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Political Science, with minors in English and History. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1989, and was admitted to practice law in the State of Alabama and the Northern District of Alabama, United States District Court that same year. Robert is also licensed to practice law in the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, the United States 11th Circuit Court and the United States Supreme Court. Robert is an experienced trial attorney, and has handled a broad range of litigation across the state of Alabama. He has tried cases in twenty-four counties and handled lawsuits in forty-two of Alabama’s 67 counties. Robert represents individuals, businesses, insurance companies and corporations in a variety of litigation and business transactions. His clients range from multi-national corporations such as Siemens (product liability-paraplegic case) to individuals (car accidents, slip and fall, etc.). Robert’s practice includes insurance defense, probate disputes and personal injury cases. He has represented lawyers in professional malpractice cases, several counties and municipalities in matters that included automobile accidents in construction zones, false arrest, inadequate jail conditions, shootings, and police brutality allegations. . Robert and his wife of over 20 years, Emily, are active in their church and their 2 children’s schools. Robert is also active in Madison County’s Volunteer Lawyer Program, providing services pro bono in civil matters. He is a member of the Huntsville/Madison County Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute. Governor Bentley appointed Robert to serve as an Administrative Law Judge in hearings involving the Certificate of Need Review Board, and to serve as an Administrative Law Judge to hold Fair Hearings in Medicaid determinations.
