After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Maryland College (now known as McDaniel College), he earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. In addition to his managerial duties, Mr. Hoffman focuses his practice in the areas of real estate, estate planning and estate administration. A member of the Maryland State and American Bar Associations, he is also a member and past president (1984 85) of the Carroll County Bar Association. Since 2001, he has been chairman of the Carroll County Advisory Board of Directors of Branch Banking and Trust Company. Attorney Hoffman also serves or has served the community in numerous ways, including: – Carroll Lutheran Village Trustee (1997 2003, and 2006 present) – Davis Library, Inc.
