Prior to joining Eden Rafferty, Attorney Holmes spent six years at a premier Worcester defense firm, representing individual and corporate defendants, including doctors, nurses, and hospitals in litigation. In addition to his litigation experience, Attorney Holmes has a deep understanding of insurance company tactics and how to best combat them. A member of the Massachusetts Bar, Attorney Holmes is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts. In addition to his work in the trial courts, Attorney Holmes has represented clients before the Appeals Court of Massachusetts, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. A graduate of Clark University and Hamline University School of Law, Attorney Holmes is an active member of the Worcester community, where he coaches youth sports and plays in local golf and hockey leagues. He is also a member of the Worcester County Bar Association and former member of their Executive Committee, along with the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys. |
