| Description | Admitted to practice in 2013, Mark Imielski is the newest member to join our team as an attorney. Though he has only been practice for a short time, he has developed a reputation as a tenacious but pragmatic litigator who fights aggressively for his clients. However, he is more than capable of understanding the necessity of crafting creative settlement solutions where possible. Mark is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association and the Kane County Bar Association, and he was recently appointed to the approved Guardian ad Litem list in DuPage County. Mark graduated with honors from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, where he was a creative writing and journalism double major. Thereafter, he attended the Northern Illinois School of Law, where he was a member of the legal aid and moot court societies. His background in professional writing gives Mark the ability to make legal arguments both understandable and persuasive to the many judges he now regularly appears before. As a proud resident of Kane County, Mark enjoys giving back to the community that has provided him a career he loves and a place to call home. When he is not practicing law, he can be found volunteering at the Naperville Humane Society or riding his bicycle along the Fox River Trail. Mark brings a warmth and sensitivity to the practice of family law, which sadly is often lacking in humanity. He believes that family law is not a contest which must be won or lost. ‘There really are no winners in divorce,’ as Mark so sagely says.
