DescriptionA partner in the firm, Larry has over 20 years of trial and appellate experience that includes a broad range of complex civil litigation. Mr. Bach has appeared throughout the State of Ohio, and has been admitted to practice outside of the state on a pro hac vice basis. His experience covers a wide range of subjects, including commercial law, adversary bankruptcy proceedings, employment, constitutional, municipal, consumer matters, and cases involving foreign entities. Mr. Bach’s accomplishments include being featured in the Ohio Legal News for his March, 2002 victory in the case of Holiday Properties Acquisition Corp. v. Scott Lowrie. In that matter a Summit County, Ohio jury awarded his client a verdict in excess of $3 Million against its former in-house attorney. Mr. Bach regularly counsels clients on a number of business and legal issues, including employment law issues, contract matters, and risk management. Mr. Bach has an in-depth knowledge of motor vehicle dealership and franchising law, and counsels clients on the sale and acquisition of dealerships. Mr. Bach’s municipal law experience includes serving as the Law Director for the Village of Mogadore, Ohio. Mr. Bach joined the firm in 1984 upon his graduation from Case Western Reserve University Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review. While in law school, his article on the use of trade names in UCC financing statements was awarded a first prize from the Commercial Law Foundation; the article can be found at 35 CASE WEST. RES. L. REV. 51. Mr. Bach received his A.B. degree from the University of Dayton. For the past five years Mr. Bach has served as an attorney advisor to the Walsh Jesuit High School Mock Trial team. Mr. Bach is a member of the Akron and Ohio Bar Associations.
