Before joining the Scott King Group, Ms. Murdaugh spent nearly a decade providing case management services as a licensed Direct Child Care Worker for children and families involved with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. She gave up her career in social work to enroll in law school. Ms. Murdaugh brings a unique background to the practice of law. She draws on her diverse background to enhance her ability to resolve difficult conflicts that are often highly emotional. She is compassionate with clients, but provides effective and impressive representation before the courts. In addition to criminal matters, Ms. Murdaugh handles CHINS cases, child custody, support and visitation matters.
