| Description | Ms. Caretti joined the firm as an associate in November 2011. While in law school, she served as an intern through California Western’s pro bono internship program with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program in the Special Education Project, which provided advocacy for foster youth in their special education matters. In her final semester of law school, she completed an internship with the United States Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Chief Counsel, where she conducted legal research and drafted briefs submitted to the San Diego Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for the Solano County Superior Court as a Staff Attorney Intern, where she conducted legal research for the civil judges on law and motion matters and prepared bench memoranda and tentative rulings. |
