| Description | Julian joined the Firm in September, 2020 as an Associate Attorney and was admitted to practice in October, 2020. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in National Security and Intelligence from Fairmont State University. Julian graduated from West Virginia University College of Law in the top 12 percent of his class in 2020 with a J.D. As the best student in six of his law school classes, Julian earned six CALI Awards of Excellence in Legal Writing, Research, and Analysis, U.S. Supreme Court Clinic, International Law, Criminal Procedure, Bankruptcy: State Debtor/Creditor Rights and Second Amendment Seminar. Julian was a member of the National Moot Court Competition Team, where he won the best brief award at the Regional Competition. He was elected to the Order of the Barristers. Julian was honored each year at the College of Law for outstanding character and leadership when he was awarded the Patrick Duffy Koontz Award, 1L Scholarship, Character, and Activism Award, and the Culture of Excellence Random Act of Kindness Award. While in law school, he studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland with a concentration in International trade and human rights. Julian was recognized at graduation for his pro bono distinction. He was a federal summer law clerk for The Honorable Michael J Aloi for the Northern District of West Virginia and a Rule 10 attorney for the United States Attorney’s Office Criminal Division for the Northern District of West Virginia. At the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he presented oral arguments on behalf of the United States in Federal District Court. Julian was one the authors of a successful brief submitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and designated presenter had oral argument been requested.At the Firm, Julian will focus on the defense of medical malpractice litigation and commercial litigation. |
