| Description | Jenae Anderson Easterly joined Burton McKinnish, PLLC in January of 2016. Mrs. Easterly is a Knoxville native who serves her community through volunteer work by mentoring young girls and judging moot court competitions. Her legal career began in Florida where she was in involved in clinics providing legal services to those in need. Mrs. Easterly has contributed greatly to Burton McKinnish, PLLC since joining the firm. She is a zealous attorney when dealing with domestic relations issues, has an uncanny grasp of the nuances of criminal defense work and has proven to have a wide range of talents in civil litigation. As a former Division 1 track and field scholarship athlete she brings an unique perspective to the practice of law. Her competitive nature mixed with a desire to serve can not be matched in the courtroom. Her passion to serve began during law school were she excelled in the Florida A&M Legal Advocacy Client and Trial Practice classes. While at Florida A&M College of Law she received the American Jurisprudence Book Award (Highest Grade) in Remedies and was on the Dean’s List.
