| Description | Duane L. Pinnock is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts and Estates. Board Certification is the single highest individual honor achievable by member attorneys of the Florida Bar. Less than one-third of one percent of all Florida lawyers are Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates. In addition to being the only African-American attorney who is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts & Estates, in 2016 Mr. Pinnock was appointed to the Chairmanship of the Florida Bar’s Wills, Trusts & Estates Board Certification Committee by Florida Bar President William J. Schifino, Jr. He is the current chair of the Palm Beach County Bar Association Estate and Probate Committee, as well as the co-chair of the Estate and Probate section of the Bench Bar Committee. A Florida Super Lawyers Rising Starâ„¢ in Estate and Trust Litigation, as well as a South Florida Legal Guide Top Lawyer, and a Florida Trend Legal Elite: Up & Comer, Mr. Pinnock concentrates his practice in Trusts and Estates Litigation and Administration and Estate and Tax Planning. For more than a decade he has represented beneficiaries, trustees, personal representatives and heirs. He assists clients in developing estate plans and administering complex trusts and estates. He also represents clients in related litigation and tax court controversies. Mr. Pinnock is a member of the Florida Bar’s Tax Section and the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section. He has taught continuing education courses to attorneys regarding estate planning and continuing education courses to accountants regarding asset protection. Duane L. Pinnock earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he is currently a member of the Law Alumni Council. He also holds an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Pinnock is admitted to practice in Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Tax Court. Mr. Pinnock is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., as well as the Epsilon Lambda Boula of Sigma Pi Phi.
