| Description | Daniel C. Stark has nearly a decade of legal experience with a focus on complex litigation. Dan regularly represents clients in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and New York, as well as in arbitrations, mediations, and before administrative agencies. Dan’s practice includes representing and counselling businesses of all sizes in a full spectrum of legal matters. His areas of focus include commercial litigation, contract disputes, labor and employment, insurance coverage, insurance fraud, healthcare, environmental litigation, ERISA, trusts and estates, and appellate practice. Dan’s trial experience includes being a member of the winning trial team in one of the largest and most complex probate litigations in the history of New Jersey jurisprudence, Cohen v. Perelman. In addition to litigation, Dan often advises clients regarding compliance with and navigation of ever-changing state and federal employment laws and related human resource matters. In that regard, he frequently conducts internal investigations and provides training for employees of all levels, including upper management. He also has a great deal of experience with traditional labor issues such as NLRA compliance, union representation elections, unfair labor practice charges, and the negotiation and drafting of collective bargaining agreements. Prior to joining Newman, Simpson & Cohen, Dan was an associate with DeCotiis Fitzpatrick Cole & Giblin. |
