Description | Carli M. Koshal is an associate at the firm. She earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Florida Levin College of Law with a certificate in Environmental and Land Use Law. Carli completed both graduate and undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a Masters of Environmental Studies with a concentration in Geology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Biology and minors in Psychology and Organizational and Environmental Management. During her studies, Carli worked as a legal extern for Florida Power & Light / Next Era Energy, where she assisted Next Era’s environmental counsel in regulatory compliance. Following her work with Next Era, Carli served as a research assistant for the University of Florida Oil Spill Research Team, funded by the McIntosh Foundation, which developed reports for use by the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Task Force in creating a Gulf restoration plan for President Obama. She also gained practical field experience as an ECO Intern with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. Carli served as Co-Chair and Finance Chair of the Public Interest Environmental Conference (PIEC), the largest student-run conference in the nation. PIEC is a collaboration of students, faculty and practitioners to address contemporary environmental issues. Carli was born and raised in Surfside, Florida. She is happy to have returned to her hometown, and currently serves on the Town of Surfside’s Planning and Zoning Board. |
