| Description | Vance Jennings is a Board Certified Social Security Disability Benefits Specialist attorney at Brent Adams & Associates. He is one of only 41 attorneys that are Board Certified in Social Security Disability Law in the state, according to the North Carolina Bar Association’s 2012 statistics. Vance is also the only SSD specialist attorney in Dunn, North Carolina. To become a Board Certified Social Security Benefits Specialist, one must pass a written test, participate in continuing education courses, be recommended by colleagues, and work substantially on cases in the NC Social Security Disability field. Vance has been a specialist in NC SSDI law since 2010, and has successfully represented hundreds of cases. When the complicated Social Security Disability Insurance application process becomes overwhelming, Vance uses his expert SSDI legal knowledge to prepare organized, strong cases for hearings and appeals on behalf of his clients. In 2014, Vance was named one of the ‘Rising Stars’ among attorneys by Super Lawyers, and this repeat title is forthcoming again in 2016. He is the Chair of the Disability Advocate Section of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He was also appointed to the North Carolina State Bar’s Specialization Committee for Social Security Disability. In 2015, Vance won a ‘Hyatt Case.’ These North Carolina disability cases are rare and challenging to win. Vance Jennings won the case, and the courts recognized the disabilty retroactively to November of 1986. The claimant will receive more than $100,000 in back benefits. A graduate of both Wake Forest University and Campbell University, Vance holds two bachelor’s degrees in communication and political science, and a master’s degree in trust and wealth management and a juris doctorate, respectively. He is a member and an Officer in the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, where he is the Secretary for the Disability Advocacy Section of NCAJ. Vance is also a member of both the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives and the American Association for Justice. He speaks about SSD issues at law events around North Carolina. Vance also handles long-term and short-term insurance disability claims and ERISA disability claims as well. Vance is a huge Wake Forest Demon Deacon fan and an avid runner and state champion tennis player. |
