| Description | Attorney Travis McCarter is a lifelong East Tennessee resident, having attended Sevier County High School before receiving both his undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Mr. McCarter had a distinguished academic career, having graduated Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee and making the Dean’s List while at the University of Tennessee College of Law. Since becoming licensed in 2010, Mr. McCarter has gained an incredible amount of trial experience in handling cases of all types at all levels of state and federal court. Mr. McCarter is one of very few attorneys in East Tennessee who can say they have successfully argued and won a case in front of the Court of Appeals, secured a six-figure verdict in a civil trial, and successfully conducted a criminal homicide trial at which the Defendant was able to avoid a conviction. Mr. McCarter has argued in the various state and federal courts in our area. When he is not practicing law, Mr. McCarter enjoys attending church, golfing, and spending time with his family. |
