| Description | Susan P. Crawford received her undergraduate degree Albertus Magnus College in 1974 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona in 1978. Ms. Crawford was admitted to the Arizona Bar in 1978 and the Texas Bar in 1979 and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Northern and Western Districts of Texas in 1980. Ms. Crawford, under her maiden name, Susan E. Peters practiced bankruptcy law in Houston, Texas from 1979 through 1988 specializing in Debtor representation in Chapters 7, 13 and 11 including extensive litigation in the bankruptcy court. She was Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization from 1986-1994.Following a 12 year sabbatical during which she was of counsel to KPMG Russia, served in various civic and charitable capacities including as a member of the Board of Directors of the Anglo American School in Moscow, Russia and was admitted to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar in 1999, Ms. Crawford resumed practicing law with the firm of now known as Craddock Davis Krause LLP in 2002. Since 2002 she has focused on practice on creditor representation in bankruptcy court, real estate, and corporate defense of contractual and consumer matters. She became a member of the New Mexico Bar in 2006 and is licensed in the United States Districts Courts in New Mexico and Arizona since 2006. She represents clients in arbitrations/mediations, state court litigation and bankruptcy court litigation in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.In 2007, she opened the Santa Fe, New Mexico office of Craddock Davis & Krause LLP. She is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico and First Judicial District Bar Association (New Mexico). Susan Crawford was named in the 2014 Southwest Super Lawyers. She is a lifetime member of the Sierra Club and on the Board of Directors of the Raptor Center of Santa Fe. Mrs. Crawford is married and had three adult children. |
