Prior to joining the law firm, Mr. Sands practiced commercial litigation with Akerman, Senterfitt in Orlando and was prosecutor for the 4th Judicial Circuit in Jacksonville FL. He has over 25 years experience representing victim’s of other people’s negligence and carelessness. Mr. Sands graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University in 1984 where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honorary society. In 1987, he graduated from the University of Florida School of Law with honors and was a member of the prestigious Law Review. Mr. Sands honed his trial skills as a state prosecutor and joined the Sands, White and Sands law firm in 1991 and now services as its President. Mr. Sands is recognized throughout the State as an accomplished litigator and has an AV Preeminent rating from his fellow attorneys for the highest level of Professional Excellence. At Sands, White & Sands, he regularly handles cases involving automobile, motorcycle, and trucking collisions; medical negligence, plaintiffs’ general personal injury, wrongful death; medical malpractice (negligence), pharmaceutical errors; and nursing home negligence and abuse. He has recovered millions of dollars by verdict and settlement on behalf of his clients.
