| Description | Attorney Sharon H. Rosen is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton (B.A., with honors) and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D.) where she was elected to the Moot Court Board. Prior to law school, Sharon earned a Ph.D. in Health Psychology from Yeshiva University where her research concentration was in the area of Gerontology and conducted research in long-term care facilities. Sharon is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association as well as the Fairfield County Bar Association. She is also a member of The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) a professional organization focusing on the legal, financial and medical needs of the elderly. Sharon has served on the Board of Jewish Family Service and continues to serve as a Commission member for the Town of Westport Commission for Senior Services. She also serves as a member of a Medical Ethics Committee of a local hospital. Sharon presents seminars on topics of interest, including Medicaid planning and planning for incapacity, including understanding the Probate Court system. |
