| Description | Ryan Gilbert is a longtime resident of North Central Florida, having earned both his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Florida. While in college, he competed nationally as a rower on the University of Florida Varsity Crew. In law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Team, where he began honing his legal skills.After several years representing insurance companies at a prestigious law firm, Mr. Gilbert decided he would rather use his knowledge and experience to help those who have been injured through no fault of their own. He knows the games and tactics used by the insurance companies, which makes him well-equipped to fight for the rights of victims. He demonstrates a genuine care and concern for his clients, which is evident in his tireless advocacy for them.Giving back to the community is a priority for Mr. Gilbert. He is a graduate of the Florida Bar’s Leadership Academy and has served on the governing boards of local and state bar associations. He currently represents the Eighth Judicial Circuit on the Board of Governors for the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division. He is frequently a guest lecturer and workshop leader at the University of Florida Levin College of Law.In addition to his professional and volunteer activities, spending time with his wife and three young children is very important to Mr. Gilbert.
