As a financial services attorney, she gained valuable expertise in issues relating to institutional asset management, including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Investment Company Act of 1940, corporate law, employment law, Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. She has a breadth of experience interpreting and applying federal statutes, rules, and policies.Ms. Ballard is an active member of the local community, particularly in Belmont, Massachusetts.
