Attorney Holmes also handles administrative proceedings, including appearing before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Unemployment Appeals, and Alternative Dispute Resolution, including Mediation and Arbitration. She has spoken on behalf of plaintiff’s civil rights before our State Legislature and was instrumental in the overhaul of the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections Sexual Harassment policies and procedures. She is a graduate from Quinnipiac School of Law where she received high honors in the areas of Connecticut Constitutional Law, Trial Practice and Appellate Advocacy. She then clerked and worked for Attorney Karen Lee Torre, leading civil rights attorney from New Haven and Attorney Elliot Spector from West Hartford, providing Municipal Defense particularly to police officers across the State of Connecticut.
