| Description | Megan is an experienced civil litigator. She focuses her practice on the defense of professional liability, workers’ compensation, and personal injury claims. Megan is a zealous advocate for her clients, regularly appearing on their behalf in the state and federal courts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Megan has significant trial experience with excellent results. She has also achieved success for her clients through mediation and arbitration of disputes. Megan has vast experience representing hospitals and doctors in the defense of claims of professional negligence. In that capacity, Megan has developed a unique understanding of the issues facing medical professionals in professional liability matters, including the legal, factual, and professional concerns raised by these claims. Megan has also developed a strong network of experts to assist her in defending these matters. This allows Megan to provide practical evaluations of professional liability claims specifically tailored to each client’s individual needs. Megan has lectured on issues unique to the defense of personal injury and medical malpractice claims to both attorneys and medical professionals.
