| Description | Matthew is an associate attorney at Michaelson & Associates. He is a proud Nevada native, growing up and living most of his life in in this state. His family moved to Sparks, Nevada when he was 2 years old, and then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada when he was 6 years old. Matthew left home to receive a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Political Science in 2010 from BYU in Provo, Utah. Thereafter, he returned home where he received his law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV.>Matthew began practicing law in Nevada in 2013. Prior to joining Michaelson & Associates, Matthew began his legal career clerking in the Appellate Unit of the Clark County District Attorney’s Office writing extensive appellate briefs for a wide variety of cases from minor crimes to complex death penalty cases.From there, Matthew jumped into private practice, earning significant experience in many areas of law including business, real estate, civil litigation, commercial litigation, and bankruptcy. He has a very strong background in handling lawsuits of all varieties from start to finish, and representing individuals and businesses in a wide variety of matters. His well-rounded background gives Matthew a unique ability and perspective to dissect legal issues and solve problems for his clients. |
