| Description | Logan joined the Phelps Estate Planning Firm in 2019 because of his passion for estate planning and business entrepreneurship. He is a valuable member of the Phelps Estate Planning Trust and Estates practice group, and enjoys personally assisting individuals and families with their estate planning needs, regardless of the size and complexity of the estate. Areas of Practice Logan excels at understanding our clients’ needs and goals, and then developing and delivering individually tailored estate plans according to those goals. He is committed to helping clients fully grasp the nuances of their estate plans in a way that is easy to understand. Logan’s estate planning practice focuses on living trusts, retirement trusts, asset protection, offshore trusts, gun trusts and business succession. Logan’s real-world experience in construction and business transactions allows him to advise clients as they form business entities such as limited liability companies for asset protection purposes. Logan has substantial business organization experience and routinely advises clients regarding office leasing, buy-sell agreements, and business succession planning. Logan is a firearms enthusiast and advises clients in gun trust formation. He helps clients understand relevant state and federal firearm ownership regulations and how to operate within these regulations when owning firearms and firearm accessories. Education Logan graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University in 2014, where he earned his Juris Doctor, and participated in the Corporate and Business Law Society, the Federalist Society, and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. Prior to Law School, Logan graduated from Brigham Young University in 2007, with a degree in Construction Management, and then worked in large commercial construction in the Phoenix area. Recreational When not at the office, Logan enjoys time with his wife, Blair, and their five wonderful children. When time permits, he is an avid off-road motorcycle enthusiast who can be found on local trails and at the sand dunes near southern Arizona. Other hobbies he enjoys include woodworking, snowboarding, tennis, pickleball, spike ball, and reading. Memberships Logan is a member of the Arizona Bar Association, the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council, and Wealth Counsel. |
