Before becoming an associate at Walton Law Firm, Kisha worked as a career prosecutor for 14 years and tried almost 100 jury trials, including several high-profile cases.Throughout her career, Kisha has served as Assistant District Attorney in the 5th Circuit, which includes Chambers, Macon, Randolph and Tallapoosa counties, and as Assistant District Attorney for the 37th Judicial Circuit in Lee County. She served as Chief Assistant District Attorney for Lee County from 2011 until her resignation in 2017.Kisha considers it an honor to have successfully prosecuted many capital litigation, sexual assault litigation, domestic violence litigation and other violent felony cases throughout her career in the District Attorney’s office. Her extensive knowledge of the judicial system makes Kisha a dedicated and hard-fighting advocate for her clients.Kisha began her legal career while attending Auburn University Montgomery, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Jurisprudence in 1999, and continued her education at Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2002. She currently resides in Auburn, Alabama, with her two teenage children and enjoys camping and spending time outdoors. |
