| Description | I began my career as a defense attorney doing Product Liability defense, primarily for car manufacturers. I then moved onto a general defense litigation firm where the main clients were landlords and owners of large apartment complexes, condo associations and strip malls. The defense focuses on slip and falls, trip and falls and property related issues. I then worked for a defense litigation firm that was focused on motor vehicle cases. I handled typical auto defense cases as well as PIP defense. I then worked in house for an insurance company that wrote policy lines for landlords and large land owners so I handled the same kind of cases from earlier in my career. I then went back to auto defense before joining Herbert I. Ellis’s firm as a new plaintiffs attorney but with a wealth of experience knowing what the defense and insurance companies thought about cases. The experience of being a plaintiff’s attorney has been energizing and nerve wracking all at once. I enjoy the fact that as a plaintiff’s attorney I make a positive impact on people’s lives, unlike my earlier experience of Just trying to save a corporation some money. I have tried over 25 cases to verdict on a wide variety of subject matter. Including every likely auto scenario (intersection, side swipe, red light etc.) to bed bugs to slip and falls to trip and falls to property damage. |
