| Description | Kelly is an experienced trial attorney whose practice focuses on representing individuals in all areas of criminal defense. She has represented thousands of clients on both misdemeanor and serious felony cases and has earned acquittals or dismissals in cases of first degree murder, sexual assault, child abuse, DUI, assault, domestic violence, drug possession, drug distribution and many others. Prior to joining Recht Kornfeld, Kelly worked as a trial attorney in the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office. During her time in the Salida Regional Office, she was responsible for mentoring and training young attorneys, supervising law student interns and providing assistance to rural regional offices on complex cases. During her four years as a public defender, she learned the importance of a tenacious and impassioned defense when fighting for her client’s rights and freedoms. Kelly received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law. |
