| Description | Kelly Miles is a partner and senior member at Froerer and Miles. His practice areas include estate planning, wills and trusts, probate and estate administration/settlement, and personal injury cases. Mr. Miles has handled numerous estates, both simple and complex, drawing on his more than 25 years of experience as an attorney. Kelly Miles has spent his entire legal career of 28 years with the law firm of Froerer and Miles, PC. He is currently the firm’s estate planning and probate specialist. He is a partner and officer and his practice focuses on the following areas: Estate Planning and settling estates. His estate planning includes meeting with his clients and structuring a plan that includes Trusts, Wills, Power of Attorneys, Health Care Directives and the titling of Assets. Settling an estate includes navigating the court system with probates and the most efficient form of settling of Trust Estates. He has been very effective in using all forms of legal tools including negotiations, mediation and litigation in order to efficiently settle an estate. Kelly is currently serving as an elected member of the Utah House of Representatives as the Representative for House District 11. In his role as state legislator he is often called upon to sponsor and pass legislation to make the probate and estate settlement process more effective. Kelly has always been committed to public service. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Weber/Davis and has been a past chair and board member of the McKay Dee Hospital Board and Ogden Weber Technology College Board. Kelly is married to the former Linda Burdett, is the father of four children, (including his son, Matt Miles, also a member of Froerer and Miles, PC) and the happiest grandfather around. He loves friends, boating, skiing, golf, public service, all kinds of music (especially alternative), yard sales, thrift stores and collecting anything vintage. |
