| Description | Kelli A. Nearhood is a 1996 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a 1992 graduate of Michigan State University’s James Madison College. Kelli joined Prince Law Firm in 2017 and has spent more than 20 years practicing in the areas of trust and estate administration, guardianship and conservatorship matters, estate planning, and family law. In addition to her private practice, Kelli also is appointed by the Oakland County Probate Court to serve as Guardian Ad Litem or Court Appointed Attorney in adult or minor guardianship proceedings, adult or minor conservatorship proceedings, and developmentally disabled persons proceedings; however, trust and estate administration, guardianship, and conservatorship matters remain the core of Kelli’s practice. Kelli is a member of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan. |
The firm originally focused on estate planning, post-death administration, and estate and gift taxation, but has steadily expanded to include contested probate litigation, protective proceedings, certain business-related matters, and alternative dispute resolution.
