| Description | Attorney Kelleigh Murphy is a well known and respected family law and civil attorney in the State of New Hampshire. Kelleigh’s clients include doctors, professional athletes, entrepreneurs, judges, attorneys, individuals with inherited and/or substantial wealth, politicians, business owners and executives, finance professionals and accountants, CEOs, pilots, professors, dentists, principals, teachers, police officers, firefighters, and other first responders. Kelleigh regularly represents clients on the complex docket in divorce matters, and has dealt with issues including division of multi-million dollar marital estates, future interests in trusts, contingent beneficiary status, ownership of one or more businesses, family business issues, franchises, chain businesses, horse racing, car dealerships, vacation properties both in the United States and overseas, and stock options. Kelleigh represents clients in matters involving divorce, parenting, child support, alimony, complex asset division and divorce matters involving business ownership. In addition to her domestic relations practice, she is skilled at personal injury litigation, small business formation, advisement and litigation, and estate planning, and also serves as a private mediator in a wide range of cases, including family law and civil litigation. A litigator by training, Kelleigh is ready and able to try a case when necessary. However, she is also a trained mediator who works with her clients to tailor personalized solutions, and is a proponent of working collaboratively to achieve client goals. Kelleigh was the first female Chairwoman in the history of the Bedford Town Council, and has honed her leadership and public speaking skills through years of civic and public service engagements. As a small business owner, Kelleigh is acutely aware of the issues facing her clients. A trained mediator, Kelleigh recognizes that sometimes the best solutions lie outside of the courtroom. However, her extensive litigation experience allows her to fiercely advocate for her clients in court. Kelleigh lives in Bedford, New Hampshire and serves clients across Southern, Central and Seacoast New Hampshire. In her free time, she serves as a Board Member for the Educational Farm at Joppa Hill and Bedford Little League, as the Vice Chairwoman for the Bedford Planning Board, on the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Gender Equality Committee, as a member of the Daniel Webster Batchelder American Inns of Court, and as a coach and manager for a number of youth sports organizations. She is the author of A Practical Guide to Divorce Cases in New Hampshire (Chapter 14 Expert Testimony in Domestic Relations Cases in New Hampshire ), 2009. Supp. 2012. Speaking Engagements Speaker at a number of programs, including the New Hampshire Bar Association, the MIT Alumni Association and others. Topics include social media use in discovery matters and marketing, digital marketing and e-commerce, and sexual harassment training seminars.
