She handles a variety of insurance and commercial matters from inception to settlement.Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ajoku was an associate at a major national Insurance and Professional Liability Defense firm where she handled a variety of insurance and commercial matters. She zealously defended her clients in civil actions arising out of automobile accidents, slip and falls, business litigation and contract disputes. Ms. Ajoku also worked as a Legal Analyst in the Foreign Exchange department of a multinational financial services company where she provided legal support in reviewing domestic and international legal agreements to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory issues and audits.Ms. Ajoku is admitted in the State of New York and is pending admission to the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts. Ms. Ajoku received her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law and Bachelor of Science from California State University, Sacramento, with a major in criminal justice and a minor in sociology. She was the president of the Black Law Student Association and a member of the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Journal.While in law school, Ms. Ajoku obtained experience working with two entertainment production companies in the business and legal affairs departments where she assisted in drafting television production and talent agreements, trademark registration, copyright and trademark maintenance and copyright infringement issues. |
