Kathryn attended Ohio Wesleyan University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Politics and Government. She then attended Ohio Northern University on an academic scholarship where she received her Juris Doctor. After successfully passing the Ohio State Bar exam, Kathryn then passed the West Virginia bar exam. Kathryn started her own law firm in Ohio upon graduation and continued growing her practice until she moved to Georgia where she became licensed to practice law. As a trial attorney, Kathryn has successfully tried cases throughout Ohio, West Virginia, and Georgia and has presented oral arguments in the Court of Appeals. During her years of practice, Kathryn was elected president of her local bar Association, was appointed as president of the Public Defender’s Commission which selects the public defenders, and was honored by being named a Fellow by the Ohio Bar Foundation. |
