| Description | Ms. Negovan is a partner managing the firm’s Philadelphia office. She is a member of the Litigation Department and is a member of the Kutak Rock Risk Management Practice and the National Coordinating Counsel Practice with extensive e-discovery experience, including project management, litigation holds, forensics and production. Ms. Negovan focuses on construction, energy, health care, class action, mass torts and complex commercial litigation. In addition, she will work extensively on Kutak Rock’s domestic and international insurance coverage client matters.Ms. Negovan is an experienced litigator, appearing before state and federal courts in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. She has first-chaired multiple bench and jury trials; she has participated in jury selection more than 50 times during her career and was part of a team of lawyers that won a $32 million jury verdict in federal court in 2006. Ms. Negovan worked closely with the corporate holding company of a major medical system to reduce the number of medical malpractice claims against the holding company from more than 250 to less than five in two years. She has defended many medical institutions and their members in civil suits, including malpractice, partnership disputes and disputes concerning ERISA and compensation issues. Ms. Negovan obtained a favorable verdict for a nursing home client in a bench trial in Camden County, New Jersey, which included an award of attorneys’ fees. She represented an international wind turbine manufacturing company in multiple commercial suits across the country, including managing its e-discovery effort in the EU and U.S. in connection with litigation involving claims in excess of $100 million.She is a frequent author and speaker on legal issues. Ms. Negovan published the article, Allocation of Tort Liability in the January 2010 issue of Construction Today and has provided seminars to insurance and medical professionals concerning e-Discovery and risk management. She was named a 2006 Lawyer on the Fast Track by American Lawyer Media and a 2005, 2006 and 2007 Pennsylvania Rising Star by Law & Politics magazine. More recently, Ms. Negovan was named to Best Lawyers 2014 (Commercial Litigation) and to Super Lawyers 2013.Ms. Negovan is a member of the Board of Directors of Livengrin, a nonprofit organization based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania dedicated to the treatment of drug and alcohol addiction. She is chair of the Administrative Board of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church. She also is a Republican Committee Woman for Warwick Township, Bucks County. Obtained a favorable award in AAA arbitration for music distribution and licensing company against distributor for failing to pay copyright and licensing fees in the face of a $10,000,000 claim of tortuous interference with the distributor’s customers. Wheatley, Bucks County, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, won judgment against seller of real estate for breach of environmental covenants. Marks v. Scherfel, Camden County Superior Court, New Jersey, won judgment against majority shareholder with attorneys fees under Minority Shareholder Oppression Act. Miller v. Sprint, Camden County Superior Court, New Jersey, won preliminary injunction against Sprint to halt improper termination of cell phone distribution contract. In re: Riverwalk Fire Case, lead team member for developer in class action suit in connection with apartment fire damage. Seidman v.
