A significant portion of his time is devoted to representation of developer equity investors in the formation of pass-through entities (e.g., LLCs, limited partnerships and joint ventures) and as borrower’s counsel in interim, permanent, and construction financing secured by real estate.As a complement to his practice, Josh also has unique depth and expertise (rare among his peers) as counsel to municipalities and utility districts, through which he adds value to his developer clients by representing them before city councils, boards, commissions, and other governmental entities (including the TCEQ) in connection with entitlements and the negotiation of public financing agreements and economic incentive packages, including Chapter 380 Agreements. |
