Prior to joining the firm, Jill served as a business consultant for a large corporation where she advised on matters relating to enterprise risk management, human resources, and dispute resolution. Before entering the corporate arena, Jill’s core law practice had included the defense of medical malpractice and Section 1983 claims, plus general business matters. She previously had served as a law clerk to federal magistrate judge Roger B. Cosbey in the Northern District of Indiana.She earned her. J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law, where she graduated with honors and was a member of the Moot Court Society and its Executive Board. Jill also holds a M.S. in Education from Indiana University South Bend where she received the Graduate Research Award in Education for her master’s thesis. She received her B.A. magna cum laude from Ball State University. She was further honored to have been selected as the Toyota International Teacher of the Year from a national pool of 500 applicants. As a result of this selection, she travelled to Japan to study culture, education, and environment.Ms. Story is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Greater Lansing Association of Realtors.
