| Description | Jeffrey W. Bowling is a founding partner of Rapier & Bowling Co. LPA, and a life long resident of Hamilton, Ohio. He is an avid sports fan, music lover, and outdoorsman. He enjoys combining his interests in spectator sports, songwriting, drumming, motorcycle riding, scuba diving, fishing and target shooting, with his commitment to the practice of law. Jeff earned his high school diploma from Hamilton High School in 1986. He enlisted in the United States Army his senior year. After serving in the 515th Transportation Unit in Stuttgart, Germany, Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He then earned his Juris Doctorate in Legal Letters (law degree) from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1998. While at UD, he served as an Associate Editor of the University of Dayton Law Review and Earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his legal research and writing skills. Jeff was accepted to the Ohio Bar on November 9, 1998, to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio on January 26, 1999, and to the United State’s District Court for the Western District of Michigan on March 14, 2006. He returned to Hamilton, Ohio to serve his community.Jeff believes that his blue-collar upbringing instilled in him a strong belief in hard work, competition, loyalty, and dedication to community service. These core beliefs have led Jeff to concentrate his practice in the areas of Divorce and Family Law, Personal Injury and Criminal Defense/OVI. My practice concentrates in the areas of law that affect most ordinary people’s lives. In these areas that I can have the most impact.Jeffrey Bowling is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan and sits as an Acting Judge in the Butler County Area Courts. He is a member of the Butler County Bar Association and Ohio Bar Association. Additionally, Jeff serves on the Board of Directors for the Fitton Center for Creative Arts, the River’s Edge Concert Series and is an active member of the Middletown Sportsman’s Club. |
