She joined the firm in 2020 and is a member of the firm’s Local Government Law Practice Group and Litigation Practice Group. She assists the firm’s municipal clients in numerous areas including zoning issues, land use compliance, ordinance preparation, local government law codes and regulations. Ms. Scollo brings over nine years of previous legal experience to the firm. She served as Deputy County Counsel for the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, where she represented the Board in a wide array of legal proceedings, and gained extensive administrative and litigation experience in civil matters ranging from adult corrections administration to public records disclosure. As part of her duties, she was appointed as the Board Attorney to the Middlesex County Construction Board of Appeals, assisted in the foreclosure process including reviewing foreclosure deeds with the Middlesex County Sheriff and handling all corresponding motions and oppositions to foreclosure sales, assisting in the daily operations of the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center and serving as the liaison between the jail and the Judiciary, handling subpoenas and requests for document production under the Open Public Records Act. |
