| Description | James T. Joiner’s practice started out as a general practice, with emphasis on General Civil Litigation, Divorce and Family Law, Real Estate Law and Adoptions. He began getting involved in Guardianships in 1980 and ceased doing Divorces in 1991. In 2004, he started specializing in Adoption and Elder Law, which includes – Guardianships, Probates, Estates and Wills, Medicaid Planning and Qualification. His legal assistant, Cindy Roberts, has been with me for 10 years and is very knowledgeable in the various areas. She handles all of the bookkeeping for the office as well as some of our guardianships and prepares required annual accountings.
