| Description | Brian was raised in Dickeyville, Wisconsin and worked in the family restaurant while growing up. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988 with a major in Economics and worked as an Economist for the U.S Department of Labor for several years before attending law school at American University in Washington, D.C. He graduated cum laude from law school in 1998; and thereafter, he worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert J. Staker, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. In 2006, he returned to Wisconsin and joined the law office of Kinney, Urban & Kussmaul in 2009, where he practiced in the areas of estate planning, probate, real estate and business law. In 2019, he joined the law office of Kopp McKichan and continues to assist folks with their estate planning needs as well as probate, real estate, and business law. He is a member of the Tri-State Estate Planners Association and has licenses to practice law in Wisconsin, Maryland and West Virginia.
