As an Assistant Attorney General for more than five years, Mr. Ignacio successfully defended state agencies in state and federal courts, as well as numerous formal hearings before the Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH). In addition to his trial and hearing experience, Mr. Ignacio has experience handling appeals before both the Florida First District Court of Appeal and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.Prior to working as an Assistant Attorney General, Mr. Ignacio had the opportunity to work for the Florida State University College of Law as the Director of the Placement Office. As Director, he assisted both law students and alumni in all aspects of professional development and job placement. He also represented the law school as a speaker at an annual conference of the National Association of Law Placement Professionals (NALP).Mr. Ignacio received his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law. He is admitted to the Florida Bar and the US District Court, Northern & Middle Districts of Florida. Originally from the Philippines, Mr. Ignacio is a long-time Tallahassee resident, and his hobbies include tennis and fishing. |
