| Description | Dennis Hoover has been with the Firm since 1979. He is currently serving as the Managing Principal Partner of Rosen Hoover P.A., as well as the Chair of the Firm’s Real Estate, Land Use and Development Group. In his position, Dennis is involved in all aspects of real estate law, banking and finance law, business law and municipal law. He serves as counsel to numerous local and regional commercial and residential developers, home builders and commercial contractors. His practice includes the development of hotels, shopping centers, employment campuses, apartment projects, low income tax credit projects, historic tax credit projects, mixed-use projects, air rights projects, commercial and residential condominium projects and residential subdivisions. Such representation extends to all aspects of such projects, including acquisition /sale contract negotiation, financing, development and construction issues and structuring of ownership entities. In addition, Mr. Hoover represents local, regional and national financial institutions in connection with real estate acquisition loans, construction and development loans and other commercial asset-based and real estate financing, including title review, loan documentation and closing transactions.Dennis is a 1976 graduate with honors of Randolph Macon College (Phi Beta Kappa) and a 1979 graduate of University of Maryland School of Law. He currently serves as Town Attorney for the Town of Sykesville, Maryland. Dennis has also served on the Community Media Center of Carroll County: Board of Directors (2002 to 2008); Vice President and Vice Chair of Board of Directors (2003); President and Chair of Board of Directors (2004-2005), Member of Executive Board of Directors (2003 to 2007) and has served on the Carroll County Economic Development Commission (Commission Member appointed by Board of County Commissioners of Carroll County MD, 2003-2004). |
