| Description | Daniel Olmos has been an associate at Nolan, Armstrong & Barton since 2007. He has represented individuals accused of a wide variety of offenses, including murder, attempted murder, sex offenses, drug offenses, including cases involving medical marijuana, and trade secret theft. Daniel also represents individuals on appeal and in post-conviction proceedings, including parole hearings and writs of habeas corpus. He has trial experience in state and federal court, and has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Daniel graduated with Honors from Harvard University and, following his graduation, taught elementary school for two years in Compton, California. He received his J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law in 2004. After graduating from Boalt, Daniel clerked for District Judge Claudia Wilken of the Northern District of California and Circuit Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to joining the firm, Daniel was Deputy Public Defender in Contra Costa County. He is fluent in Spanish and a member of California Attorneys for Criminal Justice. |
