| Description | Daniel M. Fowler was born and raised in a south suburb of Chicago. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, cum laude, in 1972 from Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois and moved to Denver that same year. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver in November of 1974. While at D.U., Dan was a member of the Order of St. Ives (the scholastic honorary), and an Editor of the Denver Law Journal. As a full-time student, he was employed first at the Trust Department of the old First National Bank of Denver and later as a law clerk at Wood, Ris & Hames, P.C. He obtained his license to practice law in Colorado in May of 1975 and practiced continuously with the same firm until April of 1987 when he left to form Fowler, Schimberg & Flanagan.Dan is also licensed and actively practicing in Wyoming. He is currently a member of the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Wyoming Bar Association, the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, associate member of AGC and AIA, the ABA Construction Industry Forum, and DRI Construction Law Committee.Martindale-Hubbel highest rating (AV).Order of St. Ives. |
