Her concentration was in law, with a major in Political Science and minors in History and Philosophy.Ms. Vassilas then attended Hofstra University School of Law in Nassau County where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 1991. She is admitted to practice law in New York, Connecticut and the District of Columbia.Ms. Vassilas has been a member of various Bar Associations over the years and also continues to be active in various non-legal charities and fundraisers.
